Offering traditional Japanese-style accommodation with spacious public baths, Watazen Ryokan is a 15-minute walk from the Gion area. Rooms have tatami (woven straw) floors, futon beds and a tea maker.During the day guests at Ryokan Watazen can enjoy the roomy seating area, and at night hotel staff prepare the Japanese futon beds. Some rooms have private bathing facilities.The ryokan is only a 2-minute walk from Nishiki Market, and a 10-minute walk from Shijo Subway Station and Honno-ji Temple.
